Young And The Restless Scoop April 9: Lily Finds Out Holden’s Her Brother – Audra Eavesdrops As Holden Confides In Claire

The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, April 9 reveals Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) will drop a bombshell on Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).

Also coming up, Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) will spill a secret to Claire Newman (Hayley Erin). Plus, Lily will confide in Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland). And Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will eavesdrop.

Y&R spoilers tease a tearful Lily will show up at the Abbott estate and Traci will ask what’s wrong. “I feel like my whole world is imploding and I need a friend to tell me everything’s going to be okay,” she’ll reply.

Y&R Daily Scoop – Malcolm Asks Why She Kept His Son From Him

Lily will say her Uncle Malcolm confided in her this morning and add he doesn’t want her to tell anyone. Traci will promise not to tell a soul and she’ll ask how Malcolm is doing. “He’s not good,” Lily will reply. She’ll say he asked her to be a bone marrow donor for him and she can’t. “If he doesn’t find another donor soon, I don’t know what I’ll do.”

Traci will ask how sick Malcolm is and Lily will say he has aplastic anemia. “You can’t give up hope, there’s every reason to believe there is a donor who can help Malcolm,” Traci will tell her. And she’ll encourage Lily to tell him right away.

At Crimson Lights, Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) will say before anything’s determined they need to find out if Holden’s a match. She’ll make a call to a clinic and Holden will reel over having a sister. Malcolm will ask how he’s doing with all this. “It’s surreal,” he’ll admit. “I’m pretty shell shocked myself,” Malcolm will say.

He’ll tell Holden he hopes he’ll want a relationship with him eventually. Stephanie will get off the phone and say the clinic will take Holden this afternoon and he’ll head out. “I can’t believe you did this,” Malcolm will say to Stephanie. “How could you keep my son from me?”

She’ll say they’d already parted ways so she didn’t want to disrupt his life. They’ll flash back to when Drucilla Winters (Victoria Rowell) set them up. Stephanie will ask if he really would have been ready to welcome a child back then. “I guess we’ll never know,” he’ll reply.

Then Malcolm will get a message from Lily and he’ll meet her at the GCAC. She’ll start to tell him she can’t donate but he’ll say he already knows, his old friend Stephanie told him. Lily will ask if that’s why his doctor came to Genoa City. Malcolm will say that was part of the reason, the other was to offer a miracle.

Young And The Restless Scoop – Audra Glares As Holden Talks To Claire

“When I tell you what it is, it’s going to blow your mind.” Malcom will say he and Stephanie were involved, back in the day. When she  left town she was pregnant, but he had no idea. “She had a son, my son,” Malcolm will add. “She decided to keep that news from me, until today.”

Lily will say she can’t believe it. “Are you saying that I have another brother?” Malcolm will say he just met him and he’s getting tested.  Lily will be shocked that he’s in town and Malcolm will say the two of them know each other. Lily will ask who it is. “Holden Novak,” Malcolm will reply. And Lily’s mouth will drop open.

Finally, Holden will end up at Society and look down at his mom’s name on his phone. “You lied to me my whole life,” he’ll say. “How dare you.” Audra will appear and ask who he’s talking to and where his mother is. But Holden won’t want to talk about it.

“Do you really think I would tell you if something was wrong?” he’ll ask and he’ll tell her to leave him alone. So she’ll stroll over to the bar. “Was that request to leave you alone for everyone, or just Audra?” Claire will ask, as Holden spots her. He’ll say he could actually use someone to talk to.

Then Audra will walk over, glare at them both and pretend to leave. Claire will sit with him and Audra will stand around the corner and listen in. “A person I trusted more than anyone kept something pretty major from me,” Holden will tell Claire.

He’ll explain he hardly knew his father, who died when he was a baby. “My mom came to visit me today, it turns out the guy who died wasn’t my actual biological father,” he’ll say. “The guy who is my bio dad, he’s still alive, in fact I just met him.”  Holden will add the guy has a daughter and Claire will never guess who it is. “It’s Lily Winters.”

Audra will hear it all, look shocked, and leave. Claire will ask why his mother told him now. “He has a blood disease and needs a blood marrow donor,” Holden will reply. “I just got a test to see if I’m a match.” Claire will ask what he’ll do if he is a match. Holden will say he plans to save the man’s life.
